Youth Ministry

The Steubenville North Youth Conference is from July 11-13, 2014, in Rochester and it is open to those entering 9th grade or higher in the 2014-2015 school year. The conference weekend is about developing the gifts given at Baptism and sealed at Confirmation. It’s about hearing dynamic speakers instruct and challenge teens in prayer, chastity, service, and the power of the Sacraments. You will discover that Christianity is not for the weak and timid; it is not a crutch; and it is not boring! It is about meeting hundreds of people on fire for the Lord: laughing, crying, talking, singing, praying, dancing, and being encouraged to take a stand for Christ. For more information about attending please contact Keri Flahive krf@sttheo.org.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SUMMER GRUNGE 2014 ! June 16 – 20  Each day of camp we meet in the morning for prayer and then travel into our Albert Lea community to do service for others. We will offer our hard working talents to local residents as well as nursing homes, churches and our parks. We end our day with crazy games and fun stuff you won’t want to miss. On the last day of camp we celebrate with a trip to Valley Fair The cost for this camp is only $75.00 which includes t-shirt, Valley fair, trip to Feed My Starving Children in Eagan and more fun activities. (Only $40.00 for those not going to Valley Fair.) Never let costs determine your decision, help is always available, just ask.  This year’s theme is “Speak Life”…Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words…use your words to inspire! Summer Grunge is open to all current 6th, 7th, and 8thgraders.
